KRITIČKI PREGLED INTERDISCIPLINARNIH ISTRAŽIVANJA RELIGIJSKE KONVERZIJE: TEORIJSKI I METODOLOŠKI PRISTUPI

U ovom tekstu se pruža pregled različitih pristupa interdisciplinarnih istra- živanja religijske konverzije. U prvom delu rada predstavljene su tipologije, modeli i koncepti prisutni u teorijskim postavkama različitih naučnih disciplina koje se bave ovim fenomenom; u drugom delu autor analizira narativni pristup kao ključnu teoretsku i metodološku koncepciju. Autor smatra da potraga za univerzalnom paradigmom predstavlja redukcionistički pristup kako konverziji tako i samoj religiji, jer se ista neodigrava u vakuumu, već u određenom istorijskom, društvenom i religijskom kontekstu. Iz tog razloga autor smatra da je narativno-socijalno-konstrukcionistički pristup najdelotvorniji, jer pruža kontekstualno razumevanje ovog fenomena. U ovom narativnom okviru, konverzija predstavlja dinamičnu biografsku rekonstrukciju i/ili renarativizaciju, novi narativni osvrt na sopstveni život pri čemu konvertit aktivnom naracijom reinterpretira pređašnje doživljaje, kao i svoje samorazumevanje sadašnjeg iskustva. Takođe, autor sagledava odnos konverzije i krize (traume); te načine na koje konverzija pomaže da se u kriznim i traumatičnim situacijama dosegnu pozitivna psihološka stanja.
