Abstract

Because of the incoherence and lack of definition of the notion of "Europe", it is differently culturally constructed in the strategies of identity construction of European societies – transitional ones in particular. This analysis concentrates on the elements of public discursive practices on Europe, and looks at the presence, or lack thereof, and working circumstances of such a catalyst of post-socialist nation-building in Serbia.
