Keywords:
alternative religious concepts, the Law on Churches and Religious Communities, categorization of religious organizationsAbstract
This paper deals with the definition of alternative religious concepts. The attitude the state takes toward these religious organizations on the basis of the Law on Churches and Religious Communities is taken into consideration. The paper points to the problems in the categorization of the religious organizations that have been promoted in the Law and to the unclear status certain groups of religious communities receive as a result of it.
