TRGOVINA "TUĐIM TELIMA" U SLUŽBI NEMAČKE ANTROPOLOGIJE

U radu se razmatraju veze trgovine ljudima, odnosno delovima ljudskog tela i nemačke antropologije krajem XIX i početkom XX veka. Posebna pažnja je posvećena odnosima izlaganja ljudi na etnografskim izložbama, žudnje antropologa za objektivnim znanjem o njima i potrebe mnogobrojne publike da vidi egzotična tela. Neki od istoričara nemačke antropologije prepoznaju kontinuiranu nit između ovakvog "antihumanizma" koji se očitava u poništavanju subjektivnosti predmetima antropoloških istraživanja na prelazu iz XIX u XX vek, ponašanja antropologa prema ratnim zarobljenicima u Prvom svetskom ratu i uloge ove i njenih sestrinskih disciplina u Drugom svetskom ratu. Takva perspektiva podstiče istraživanje nemačke antropološke tradicije u okvirima postkolonijalnih studija u globalnom kontekstu, podjednako upućujući na preispitivanje "nemačkih" osnova domaće antropologije i arheologije.
